BioPenny and Cheeto are two kittens born to a feral cat on March 24, 2009. This journal chronicles their upbringing.
Quick background:
I trapped a feral cat (Tootsie) to have spayed, and she was dropped off at the vet to have the procedure done the following day. Overnight, she gave birth at their office. None of us knew she was pregnant. I had no choice but to raise them, and while it was a very nerve-wracking start, they are doing very well and are such a joy. Tootsie was spayed and brought to a horse farm to live out the rest of her life. Penny and Cheeto will be living with me. I just couldn't part with them!
